Twenty large black and white photographs by two of Cuba's best young art photographers, Juan Carlos Alom and Cirenaica (pronounced Sirinyka) Moreira, who are married to one another, have been chosen by the two artists for this show, "Images from the Last Decade of the Millennium" In addition, several other works by them exhibited are in the collection of the Center for Cuban Studies or on loan by private collectors. During the exhibit, videos made by Alom will be shown, including "A Harley Haunts Havana," (Un Harley recorre a La Habana), an edgy black and white documentary about the cult of Harley-Davidsons in Cuba, and "Habana solo," a black and white tone poem which uses solo performances by well-known Cuban musicians to talk about the streets of Havana.
