The Center is bringing out hundreds of works from its collection and offering them for sale, for the first time, especially LPs of Cuban music and hundreds of books. In addition, we'll be selling duplicate copies of original Cuban posters, rescreened film posters, and photographs.

The silkscreen and offset posters are from Cuba's best-known graphic artists, such as Bachs, Reboiro, Rostgaard, Ñiko, Mederos, Goire, Eduardo Marin and others.

The photographs are also by many of Cuba's best photographers - Korda, Salas, Figueroa, Marucha, Mayito, Corrales, Ernesto Fernandez, Liborio Noval, as well as new young photographers like Alexis Martinez.

The Cuban books include Casa de las Americas premios, literary works by Nicolás Guillén, Pablo Armando Fernández, Abilio Estevez, Cintio Vitier, Fina Garcua Marruz; books covering the history, politics and economics of Cuba (most are in Spanish), as well as duplicate copies of original Cuban film posters and rescreened film posters.

The LPs (there aren't many) are mostly popular music, with some traditional and classical and several of the "nueva trova."

WE ARE NOT CLOSING: we are simply trying to raise the money needed to survive, and at the same time downsize our collection by selling duplicates or material that is no longer relevant to our work. YOUR PURCHASES WILL HELP KEEP US GOING, and at the same time you will be getting something unusual, even rare.

We are also in the process of making a list of the photographs we have for sale. So if you cannot come in during the six weeks of the sale, we will try to accommodate you long-distance!
